Dean Nichols is in his fifth year at the helm of the Framingham State men's soccer program and in his first four seasons he has turned the program in the right direction. Under Coach Nichols in 2004, the Rams were tied for fifth on the NCAA's list of the most improved teams in Division 3. In 2004 the Rams also qualified for the MASCAC Tournament for the first time in school history. In 2006 the Rams tied the school record for victories in a single season with 11, the mark had previously been reached in 1974 and 1994. Nichols is a graduate of Fitchburg State College where he was an outstanding soccer player for the Falcons. |
