Men’s Soccer 2003 Season Wrap-up

Men’s soccer had a tough season finishing with a record of 2-13-2 under the guidance of first year coach Dean Nichols.  Offensively, the Rams were led this season by freshman forward Oscar Barroso of Milford who had four goals and three assists for a total of eleven points.  The defense was led by Simeon Utobar, a freshman back from Framingham, who was selected 2nd Team All- MASCAC.  Sophomore Kevin Ridlon of Lynn was solid in goal for the Rams finishing the year with a respectable 2.82 goals against average while playing 1436 minutes in the net.

The Rams return all but two players from this season’s team and Coach Nichols will look to build around 17 underclassmen that saw action this season.  They will come back with a year of valuable experience in the MASCAC and be ready to help the Rams return to a winning record.
