Take a Break with Some Furry Friends

With holiday shopping, the end of classes, and finals, this can be a stressful time of year for everyone! Join Framingham State Activities Board, SEALS, and The Health and Wellness Center for our annual Pause for Paws event! Come snuggle some pups, enjoy some treats, and make DIY stress balls!

Pause for Paws
Monday, Dec. 5th and Wednesday, Dec. 7th
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Alumni Room, McCarthy Center

Don't miss the Bruce Mattson Band - today!

Former Framingham State University employee Bruce Mattson returns to treat us to a midday performance!

Monday, Dec. 5, 1:30 p.m.
McCarthy Center Forum

The Bruce Mattson Band channels the spirits of New Orleans R&B, jazz, funk, and blues into everything they do. Their sets are a swampy blend of Bruce’s original work and classic repertoire from giants of the funky bayou tradition including Dr. John, the Meters, and the Neville Brothers.

This event is free and open to the public.

FSU Mix and Bake Events

Friday, December 9th at 3:30

Register here!

'Tis the season to celebrate the end of the semester. Join us to mix and bake some peanut clusters. This effortless candy is great to pack up and share or nibble on throughout the winter break, but fair warning, it’s hard to eat just one! Come have some fun as we let the secret out of the bag for these simple treats, mix up a batch of delicious and award-winning (blue ribbon at the Pima County Fair) treats, and of course, taste a cluster or two!

Preparing Framingham State University Students for a Multilingual Workforce

Come learn about FSU’s SPAN 225 gen. ed. course in the Department of World Languages! The course focuses on career preparation in an increasingly competitive, multilingual, and evolving job market. During the class, students prepare to utilize their Spanish and English communication skills in a variety of careers.

The students have organized an event to share their professional work in Spanish and English. They will host an ePortfolio Showcase at Framingham State University in the Center for Inclusive Excellence Lounge (O’Connor 120) on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 9:00am-10:30am.

The students will present their digital portfolios that they created on Google Sites. The portfolios include their professional documents and projects in both English and Spanish. These artifacts are catered towards a career field in which each student has an individual interest.

Students will give opening remarks at 9:00. Afterwards, attendees will be able to speak with students individually about their projects. We welcome all to join us to celebrate these students’ work in Spanish and English!
