In my search for a college, Framingham State University just stood out from all of the rest. The campus was beautiful, and I really felt safe, even though I was away from my mom. The community is so welcoming!

I love to sing and act, and naturally, I fell in place with the Symphonic Band, the Framingham Falsettos, and the Hilltop Players theater group. By the end of my freshman year, I already was a secretary for the Symphonic Band. By the beginning of my sophomore year, I was the president of the Symphonic Band and the publicity chair of the Framingham Falsettos. By my second semester of my sophomore year, I was in two shows. I was also chosen to be the musical director for "Little Shop of Horrors." I have also held down a job at the Framingham State University Bookstore for almost two years now.

My point is that Framingham State University is the best decision I made. It has shaped me in the kick-butt woman I am today, and I still have two years to go! Every time I am asked if I like it at FSU, I always say, "I wouldn't change anything for the world." Framingham State is where I belong.
