Academic Resources

Ensuring student success is our primary goal. Online students receive the same level of support as students taking classes on campus.

Academic Questions

At the Offices of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education you will find that excellence goes hand-in-hand with intellectual development and enrichment. A comprehensive range of study including graduate, undergraduate and certificate programs, noncredit courses, and programs for educators is provided. Whether you take classes on campus or online, you'll get personal attention and practical training. Contact the Office of Graduate Studies at 508-626-4558 and Continuing Education at 508 626-4603 or email dgce@framingham.edu and arrange time to speak with an advisor.

Campus Resources

Off-campus Library Access is available to all students. Students may access library services and databases directly from the library home page using their Blackboard login.

Reference librarians are also available to help students choose appropriate resources for a particular research topic. Call 508-626-4654 to speak with a reference librarian or send an e-mail reference@framingham.edu.

Students may also take advantage of the "Ask a Librarian" discussion board in some online courses. By adding this resource, students are placed in direct contact with library staff and receive one-on-one support for their research and writing assignments. Professors who offer this service work with an assigned librarian in advance of the assignment. This program was started in the spring 2005 semester and is used by one quarter of the faculty who teach online.
