It’s time to get together and enjoy the company of your fellow nutrition alumni. Return to Framingham State University for a gala celebration on Saturday May 4, 2013 in the McCarthy Campus Center. Some exciting things are happening and we want you to join us in celebrating the advancements of the nutrition program as well as the success of The John C. Stalker Institute in its 25th year. We are thrilled to announce that renovations of the Dr. Constance B. Food Lab have begun and will provide an advanced space for nutrition students as well as a regional training site for The John Stalker Institute. Attend the Nutrition Gala to celebrate and support the advancements in the programs.
The evening will begin with a VIP reception featuring Dr. Guy Crosby for those who would like to meet the author and receive a signed copy of his book, The Science of Good Cooking, in which he collaborated with Cook’s Illustrated to “explain how cooking concepts work.” Dr. Crosby is a former food science professor at Framingham State University. He has devoted more than 30 years teaching and researching the chemistry of food. To reserve your space at the VIP reception and a copy of the book please purchase a VIP ticket in your reply. If you do plan to attend the reception please plan to arrive at 5pm.

The schedule for the evening is as follows:
5pm-6pm: VIP reception and book signing
5:15-6pm: Campus tours of newly renovated Dr. Constance B. Jordan Experimental Foods Laboratory and other popular campus locations
6pm-7pm: Program by Dr. Guy Crosby
The dress for this event is cocktail attire. Please welcome this event as an opportunity to dress up and spend a fun night out with your former classmates and food and nutrition professionals.
