The program is taught by members of our department who are certified R.A.D. instructors. The program is a basic physical defense course for women and the objective is "to develop and enhance options of self defense so they may become viable considerations for the woman who is attacked." This program teaches women to depend on themselves to be responsible in decision making and gives them a realization of physical power. It not only empowers women but changes their lives.
