  • Keep up your GPA.  If you haven't taken advantage of the excellent tutoring resources, consider it now.  Visit Center for Academic Support and Advising (CASA).
  • Make sure you're on track to graduate. Check in with your advisor and be sure you're meeting the requirements necessary to complete your degree.
  • Attend our career events and programs. Employers come to campus because they want to recruit Framingham State University students. Network with them at our events.
  • Continue to be involved. Leadership activities help build skills. Employers love students who are involved inside and outside of the classroom. Contact Student Involvement and Leadership Development (SILD).
  • Gain related experience. Internships are critical. You gain real experience as well as begin to determine if what you had in mind for a career is truly interesting to you.  Use RAMTRACK to search for internships.

    • Research programs online and explore ideas with your faculty and one of our Career Counselors.
    • Which test will you need?  GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MCAT, MAT?
    • Complete applications by the deadlines and build in enough time to complete your essays.
    • Speak with faculty and other potential references early! Be sure to give them enough lead time.
