Please come to the first of two follow-up discussions on the
topic of Information Literacy and Technology Fluency (ILTF).
The discussions will be led by James Cressey, Assistant Professor
of Education, Kim Cochrane, Curriculum Librarian, and Robin
Robinson, Director of Education Technology.
For those of you who attended the presentation by
Gail Matthews-DeNatale, we will share reactions and questions in
response to her work.
All are welcome to attend, and we will share experiences from
our own teaching and practice that relate to these ideas, as well as
questions and interests that we bring to the group.
Attendees will also receive a copy of
Net Smart: How to Thrive Online by Howard Rheingold.
We will hold a second event in December to continue the
Meditation Group: CELTSS sponsors the weekly meeting of the FSU
Mediation group led by Paul Galvin. The meditation group meets
every Monday in the CELTSS Center from 4:40 p.m. until 5:15 p.m.
For newcomers to the group, it is advisable to arrive at 4:30 p.m.
your first time. You need not commit to sitting every Monday.
Weekly drop ins are welcome.
