**Winter Commencement Ceremonies will be held on Saturday January 31, 2015**
Congratulations. In just a short time Commencement will be here, and you will be graduating from Framingham State University and starting a new phase of your lives. My hope is that you will look back on your time here as among the most significant and satisfying of your lives, but that you will also eagerly approach your futures with readiness and confidence to take on new challenges. As you move on, you carry the best wishes of the faculty, staff, and trustees of Framingham State who have taught, advised, counseled, and mentored you and now welcome this opportunity to honor your accomplishments and success. Please remember to acknowledge those who have had an impact on you and especially to thank family, friends, and supporters who helped you to arrive at this important day. We all share in your excitement and are justifiably proud of you. Upon your graduation you will join an alumni body that is some 37,000 members strong. We look forward to seeing you and hearing about your successes and adventures as your lives and careers unfold. I hope your future work will honor Framingham State and the contributions of those who came before you, as you will make it possible to sustain FSU for those who will come after. Enjoy your Commencement Day; you’ve earned it!
