Economics and Business Administration

The Department of Economics and Business Administration offers several programs for students to study the fields of accounting, business administration, economics, management and marketing.

Students can earn one of three undergraduate degrees:

Bachelor of Arts in Economics
Bachelor of Science in Business
Bachelor of Science in Business and Information Technology

Graduates with undergraduate degrees are prepared for admission to careers in industry as well as graduate programs in their fields.

Students pursuing programs in other disciplines can pursue a minor in business or in economics.

On November 9th, the Fed Challenge Team from Framingham State University competed at the Regional Fed Challenge at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Student Members - Sarah Farrar, Robert Herbison, Marc Leger, Oyama Leqela, Aaron Marshall, and Alan Paoletti. Faculty Advisors - Professor Michael Enz, Professor Francis Kemegue, and Professor Fahlino Sjuib.

Dr. Mary Rogers presented a paper that she co-authored with Dr. Weichu Xu entitled "How to Reduce the High Drop Out Rate at Online Education? A Theoretical Study."

The Department of Economics and Business Administration co-sponsored the Knowledge Globalization Conference for the 3rd consecutive year with the Sawyer School of Management at Suffolk University and the Knowledge Globalization Institute. The conference was held at Suffolk University in Boston, MA from November 9-10, 2012.
