The Massachusetts Right to Know Law and regulations address employee and community concerns about hazardous materials in the workplace and the potential adverse health effects from exposure to these substances.  The Massachusetts Right to Know Law established requirements designed to help public employees by preventing adverse health effects from exposure to workplace chemicals.  All employees have a need and a right to know what chemicals they may have contact with in their workplace.  Framingham State University provides annual training to employees who may come in contact with hazardous materials and maintains a library of safety data sheets (SDS) on products used on campus.
