The Fashion Design and Retailing students have four Department related clubs and organizations.
The Fashion Club organizes events throughout the semester. The major event is a fashion show featuring student designers. Other activities include guest speakers, charity campaigns, co-sponsoring campus events, and arranging bus trips to New York.
The Design and Development Club provides support to students who are working to expand and improve their design and apparel construction abilities. The club's focus will be community service projects as well as providing members opportunity to learn new construction skills. Special workshops and guest speakers will provide professional input.
The Style Magazine Club produces the fashion magazine "Style" which is published and distributed each semester. The club members include students from several program including Art, Communication Arts, and Journalism.
Phi Upsilon Omicron Honor Society membership is by invitation with national criteria for acceptance. Membership is based on scholarship professional potential, leadership, and commitment to service. Activities include charity campaigns, academic competitions, and hosting campus events.
