Jose Tombs Scholarship (Fall Application)
Criteria for eligibility:
- Completed four courses at Framingham State University
- Declared major in basic or applied science
- Demonstrated proficiency in science course
- Financial need

Mildred Thomas Award
Criteria for eligibility:
- Major in Consumer Sciences Department
- Worcester County resident
- Completed first semester
- QPA of 2.0
- Complete application by April 30
Christa McAuliffe Scholarship
$1000 yearly grant, recipient assists in McAuliffe Center Programs
Criteria for eligibility:
- Full-time undergraduate student
- Demonstrated talent in academic discipline
- QPA of 3.3
- Complete application by March 15
Justin McCarthy College Community Service Scholarship
Criteria for eligibility:
- Successfully completed the equivalent of three four-course semesters in major
- QPA of 2.7
- Contributed volunteer services to the University Community
- Consideration will also be honors and awards received, membership in honors societies, participation in co-curricular activities, voluntarism with the community
- Include (4) information in separate letter explaining your contributions to the betterment of University and campus life
- Include two letters of recommendation (one from a faculty member and one from an administrator at the University
Kathleen Browne Ittig Scholarship
Criteria for eligibility:
- Undergraduate student having successfully completed two years in Consumer Sciences major
- QPA of 3.0
- Campus leadership ability will be considered but not determining factor in award

Gertrude Rose Missman Award
Criteria for eligibility:
- Completed a minimum of eight full-credit courses
- Is no more than a second semester junior
- Demonstrates outstanding participation in student activities at Framingham State University in at least one of the following:

Student Associations
Club or Class Officer
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, through its many association groups, offers a variety of scholarships and educational stipends to individuals pursuing undergraduate and advanced degrees in dietetics or food and nutrition related areas. The Massachusetts Dietetic Association
Massachusetts Dietetic Education Foundation (MDEF) offers two $1000 scholarships every year. One is for undergraduates, the other for graduates. Applications are due by May 1st for the following academic year. Scholarships are based on financial need, scholarship, and aptitude for the profession.
