Dr. Otto teaches World Regional Geography, Introduction to Human Geography, Geography of Europe, Methods of Planning, Community Development, Global Cities, Geography of Russia and Central Asia. Her research focuses on transitions to capitalism and democracy in Central and Eastern Europe; the spatial dimensions of economic sector growth and change; place marketing and promotion; metropolitan governance; and urban sustainability.
