All Faculty, Staff, and Student workers are considered employees of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and are paid biweekly from this office using the state payroll system, HR/CMS. Paydays are every other Friday, in the week following the end of a pay period.

All employees can access a variety of Self-Service features through MassHR, such as viewing paychecks and Forms W2, changing contact information, updating emergency contacts, and enrolling in direct deposit.  Most staff and students report their worked time through MassHR Time & Attendance. For assistance with MassHR ID numbers and/or passwords, please contact a member of the payroll team.

Direct deposit is mandatory for all employees. We encourage all employees to suppress their paper pay advices and Forms W2, and view/print these online through MassHR.
