The dean of students or designee appoints members of the student affairs professional staff to serve as hearing officers.
A case may be referred to an ad hoc committee if certain conditions apply. The ad hoc committee is comprised of three professional staff and/or faculty members as well as a fourth nonvoting chair appointed by the dean of students or designee.
