The Room Selection process for returning resident students has concluded for the 2013-2014 academic year. First year students are provided information about housing from Admissions. Current commuter students interested in living on campus can find information about the Housing Wait List below.
2013-2014 Housing Wait List
Current commuter students who wish to live on campus for the 2013-2014 academic year may apply through the Housing Wait List.
To be assigned to the Housing Wait List, complete the following two steps:
1. Submit a $150 Housing Wait List deposit:
The deposit is payable on myFramingham (preferred) by following these simple instructions:
a. On myFramingham, click on “Accounts”
b. Then select “Make an Online Payment/Deposit”
c. Click on “Deposits” at top
d. Select “Fall 2013” from the pull-down menu
e. Select “Residence Hall Deposit”
f. Enter deposit payment information (and await payment confirmation for completion)
This deposit may also be paid at the Student Services Center (located on the 5th floor of the McCarthy Center) by cash, check or credit card. Payments by check should be made payable to “Framingham State University” and include your 9 digit student ID# with notation that it is for the “housing wait list deposit”.
2. Complete the online Housing Wait List application:
The online Housing Wait List application will not be accessible until the deposit has been uploaded and posted to the housing system- typically after 7:00 a.m. the following business day.
The Housing Wait List application is accessible through myFramingham. On the myFramingham portal select the “Around Campus” tab. In the “Residence Life Channel”click on the myResLife link. This will take you to the application. It only takes a few minutes to complete the application.
Students on the Housing Wait List must meet on-campus housing eligibility requirements (matriculated student with full course load, be in good academic, financial, all required medical documentation confirmed on file by Health Services) before a residence hall assignment will be offered. Students on the Housing Wait List will be contacted through student email and must respond to an offered assignment within 2 business days. Accordingly, students on the Housing Wait List are advised to check their student email each business day. Students who do not respond to an offer for housing will be removed from the Housing Wait List and their application will be cancelled.
Students who have not been offered a housing assignment may request removal from the list and a refund of the $150 housing wait list deposit, by making a written request from their student email to firstname.lastname@example.org
. The deposit is non-refundable unless a request for refund of the deposit and removal from the list is received prior to being offered a housing assignment.
