Internships
The Sociology department offers internship opportunities through two elective courses:
SOCI 495 Internship in Community Social Service
SOCI 498 Field Experience in the Social Dynamics of Business
These are courses in applied Sociology. Each course requires a combination of in-class work and work experience in a location appropriate to the nature of the internship. The courses are open to qualified juniors and seniors. Enrollment is contingent upon receiving permission from the instructor.
