Alternative Spring Break

Alternative Spring Break

The Alternative Spring Break program is a week long service learning trip immersing students in direct service and education, pushing students to become active citizens who explore the root causes of social issues.

Student trip leaders recruit, fund-raise, and plan a week long trip to assist a community in need. The week of spring break is spent on-site building, working, and assisting people and projects in need. During the fall, students fund-raise and learn more about working with non-profits and about the different region.
