Whittemore Library provides access to numerous online databases for all its students and faculty.  Off-campus access requires that you login before being able to search the databases.  Once you login, you will be able to access all the online databases without having to enter a library barcode number or a username/password.  There are a few exceptions and those will be clearly noted. 

When prompted, please login using your Framingham State College network account. 

Students

Your network account is the same as your myFramingham default password. Your myFramingham default password is either your month of birth plus your day of birth plus your student id number (current students who have taken an FSC course prior to summer 08) or your birth date, using your 2 digit month of birth + your day of birth + your year of birth (new students who are taking classes at FSC starting with summer 08).

Examples: If you have taken an FSC course prior to summer 08, then your default password would be 0804pg34 (with a birthday of August 4th and an id number of PG34).

If you are a new student who is taking classes at FSC starting with summer 08, then your default password would be 080472 (with a birthday of August 4, 1972).  If you experience problems logging in or do not know your network account information, please contact the Student Helpdesk at 508-215-5950 or shd@stumail.frc.mass.edu. 

Windows XP

Enter your network account username with the prefix student\ before the username (ex: student\jdoe).

Windows 2000

Enter student in the domain field.

Faculty and Staff

Your network account username and password is the same username and password you use when you log into your PC on campus.   If you experience problems logging in or do not know your network account information, please contact the Faculty/Staff Helpdesk at 508-620-1220 ext. 4357 or helpdesk@frc.mass.edu.     

Windows XP

Enter your network account username with the prefix campus\ before the username (ex: campus\jdoe).

Windows 2000

Enter campus in the domain field.
