At the undergraduate level, the World Languages Department offers Modern Languages majors in the day program with concentrations in Spanish, World Languages (a combination of French and Spanish), and International Management. In addition, non-majors are able to secure a minor in French, Chinese or Spanish with the completion of five courses. Department majors have the opportunity to gain certification for the teaching profession by minoring in elementary or secondary education, and completing their practicum during their final semester. The Department also participates in the Post-Baccalaureate Program for students working toward their initial Massachusetts teaching license in Spanish and French, and also advises and oversees the progress of students participating in this program.
