College Choice Names FSU Nursing Program Most Affordable in the State
Framingham State University’s RN-to-BSN nursing program has been recognized as the most affordable option in the state by CollegeChoice.net.
The website examined data from the NCES (National Center for Education Statistics) on 23 nursing schools listed as offering a BSN in the past academic year in order to establish its ranking of the Ten Most Affordable Nursing Degrees in Massachusetts for 2017.
FSU offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) completion path designed for registered nurses who have already obtained an associate’s degree in nursing. The University recently partnered with MassBay Community College on a new agreement that provides MassBay students who earn their associate’s degree in Nursing with seamless admission into Framingham State’s Nursing Program. The articulation agreement aims to streamline the process for students to earn their bachelor’s degree in a field that is facing a large shortfall in qualified job applicants due to retirements.
In addition to the RN-to-BSN program, Framingham State also offers a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program with concentrations in Nursing Education and Nursing Leadership.
