Student Life Information for Fall 2020 – July 14th, 2020

Good morning,

The fall semester is fast approaching, and we know that many of you are curious about what campus life will look like in the Fall of 2020.

The Student Programs and Support Continuity Team put together the information below which briefly describes the planned hours, services, and contact information for sixteen different departments which support student life.  The list includes areas such as the Athletic Center, CASA , and the Student Support Center (SSC).

These are our plans, and we wanted to share them with you as early as possible to help you begin to plan your fall. However, we have all learned in the past five months that things change, and these plans may have to change as well depending on any guidance we get from the Commonwealth, the Department of Public Health, or the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

We will post this document on the website and share updates there.

Please know that we are all working hard to help you continue your Framingham State experience on your road to degree completion.  The campus may look differently, but we will retain the Framingham State spirit.

Take Care. Be Safe.

Lorretta M. Holloway, Ph.D.

Athletics
The weight room and main gym will be open in the fall for student use.  We will be following guidance from the Baker Administration and our own Facilities Department to provide recreational activities and work out options. Additionally, we are investigating offering virtual classes to our student population. There will be new rules and regulations for usage, which will include, but may not be limited to, following the University face covering protocol and additional cleaning protocols. We will continue to provide additional information as it becomes available.
