Business & Information Technology

Emily Sosnovsky

I chose Framingham State University because it’s like home to me. I am originally from Framingham, and it is such a great community to be a part of. I first came to FSU not exactly knowing what I wanted to do, but after completing my first year majoring in Business and Information Technology, I felt encouraged to pursue my passions thanks to the amazing professors, staff, and students who make this campus great.

I have met amazing friends and professors, and I have acquired a strong understanding of web coding languages, data visualizations, and business analysis that will help shape my future career in the field of Business and Information Technology and beyond. Working with the students and faculty at FSU has challenged and inspired me to become successful. During my freshman year, I decided to join the Alpha Lambda Delta First-Year Honor Society, which helps me continue to be an accomplished student.

I plan to get more involved on campus and further pursue the opportunities FSU has to offer, such as gaining internships in a field that I excel in. I am currently working an on-campus job and throughout my position I have learned so much about what really makes FSU a great school and community. This has made me realize that through experience, I will find out where I am meant to be and I look forward to what the future has in store for me.
