Our Mission

Department of Communication, Media, and Performance:

The mission of the Communication, Media, and Performance department is to prepare students to become critical thinkers and effective communicators. We combine the theoretical foundations and practical applications of human communication, engaging students with a wide range of experiences in visual studies and production, speech, and theatre. This integrated curriculum prepares students for post-graduate study or professional careers. In addition, we encourage them to understand and embrace the complexity of the world and adapt creatively to inevitable changes throughout their lives.
