Schedule of Course Nursing Leadership

Nursing Leadership Option 1

All courses are delivered through a hybrid/blended learning model -- a combination of online and face-to-face meetings allowing students in the nurse leadership track option 1 to take two courses each semester, but attend classes only one evening per week.

Classes for nurse leaders are held on Wednesday evenings from 5-9 p.m.

NURC 935 Essential Preparation for Advanced Nursing Role

Fourth Semester – Fall
NURC 971 Nursing Theory and Research I
NURL 983 Practicum in Organizational Management Skills (Practicum I)

Fifth Semester – Spring
NURC 972 Nursing Theory and Research II
NURL 993 Internship in Independent Leadership Skills


Nursing Leadership Option 2
All courses are delivered through a hybrid/blended learning model -- a combination of online and face-to-face meetings. Students in Nursing Leadership Option 2 take one course a semester and are on campus 7-8 times per semester, usually every other week, with the exception of the summer when students attend classes weekly for 12 weeks.
