Living at Framingham State

Living at Framingham State

Most students find that living on our beautiful New England campus is the best way to immerse themselves in the college experience, succeed academically, and make lifelong friends. Full-time students are guaranteed on-campus housing each year they are enrolled. We offer varied on-campus living options in seven residence halls; including the opportunity to live in the new residence hall that opened in 2016. We have everything you could possibly need. There are common areas for socializing, but if you find you need a little quiet time, study rooms and lounges are right in your building.

Our Student Transportation Center provides shuttle service to a number of local shopping, dining, and entertainment destinations, and the City of Framingham has a Commuter Rail station so students can easily make the 20-mile ride to Boston for internship and job opportunities, or for fun.

Belonging at Framingham State

Framingham State is a close-knit community and our primary focus is on student success so that everyone can excel personally and professionally. We provide an open and supportive learning environment that is small enough to be personal and collaborative, yet large and diverse enough to broaden students’ understanding of the world.

With a broad range of cultural programming, varsity and intramural athletics, study abroad opportunities, and more than 60 student clubs, it’s easy to get involved on campus.

When you're here, whether you live on or off campus, the feeling of being part of a family is genuine. In fact, our students call it "fRAMily."
