Office of Family Engagement

Hello Parents and Families!

Framingham State recognizes that many people provide support to our students.  Some are family members, such as mothers, fathers, spouses, siblings, and grandparents and other members of the extended family.  Others may be friends, community members, teachers, coaches and more.  Regardless of how you know your student, you are all part of their support network, and therefore considered part of the family.

Framingham State University recognizes the role that family members and supporters play in helping students through their collegiate experience.  The Office of Family Engagement works with family members to share information about the university that will support students through their academic and personal growth.  We engage, inform and guide all who support students so they can be a useful resource for their students.

The Office of Family Engagement serves those who support students by:

  • Communicating information about university deadlines, policies, events and resources.
  • Offering events to connect with students and members of the university community.
  • Serving as a central location for questions, concerns and needs

Here you will find information for helpful resources related to your student's college experience, answers to your most frequently asked questions, Parent and Guest Orientation information, and access to the Family Experience Portal.

As supporters of Framingham State students, you are a vital aspect to their college experience and we are here to to supply you with the information you need to stay as informed as possible.
