Daily, mail is picked up at the local post office and then distributed to residence halls and offices. Please note the mail is strictly small parcels. The storeroom (shipping and receiving) delivers all packages.

To enable the University to qualify for a reduced postage rate, all pieces of first class mail should not be hand-written.

Power Plant

The Power Plant is located at the rear of the Framingham State University property.  Three natural-gas fired boilers produce steam that provide heating and hot water for the majority of the buildings on campus. This power plant is operated 24 hours per day, 7 days per week by full-time licensed operators when students are living on campus.  The power plant shuts down for nights and weekends during summer months when there is no need for hot water during those times.

Storeroom

A full time staff of 3 people handle all shipping and receiving to and from Framingham State University. The storeroom is located on the first floor, in the rear of Peirce Annex. All parcels, large or small, delivered to campus go through the storeroom. Prior to release of any parcel to an employee of the University, a package must be received into the Banner system, and a PO assigned to it.

For student packages, the storeroom will receive the package, and deliver it to the appropriate residence hall.

Please notify the storeroom at storeroom@framingham.edu with any questions.
