    The Academic English language program are for English learners of all levels to learn new skills, prepare for further university study in the United States, and learn about American culture, business, and other subjects.

    The Academic English Language Program (AELP) include the following programs: Intensive English Program, Bridge to University and Professional Success Program, and Individualized Study Plans. Please see more information and instructions to register below.

What’s special about this program?

Accelerated learning in reading, speaking, grammar, vocabulary building, academic writing, pronunciation, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) preparation, and content areas based on student interest. 

MORNING COURSES

Monday/Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. / Friday 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. 
Tuesday/Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. / Friday 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.Cost: $1520 (Fall & Spring)        $760 (six-week Summer session)

AFTERNOON FOCUS COURSES

Monday/Wednesday 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.  
Tuesday/Thursday 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.  
Cost: $540 (Fall & Spring)         $270 (six-week Summer session)

The Bridge to University and Professional Success Program helps English language students transition to university studies or advance their careers. Students need advanced English skills to take the Transition Courses. 

Transition Courses teach preparedness for an American university and professional career advancement that is specialized for you and other classmates and your unique needs as non-native English speakers functioning in American culture.  

TRANSITIONS 10: Writing, Research, and Presentations (High Advanced)

Monday/Wednesday: 6:45p.m. - 9:15p.m.

Cost: $670 (Fall & Spring)         $335 (six-week Summer session)

Academic English Language Program: Individualized Study Plans

The Academic English Language Program Individualized Study Plan allows you to completely customize your study with one of our highly-trained instructors. Students are matched with an instructor to develop a 14 hour or 28 hour (Fall and Spring)/6 hour or 12 hour (Summer) individualized English Language Study Plan to practice and improve grammar, reading, writing, conversation, pronunciation, preparation for TOEFL and other exams, job-seeking skills, English for specific purposes or conversation skills.

Individualized English Language Study Plan 14 hours   

Cost: $980 (Fall & Spring)             6 hours $420 (six-week Summer session)

Individualized English Language Study Plan 28 hours 

Cost: $1,960 (Fall & Spring)          12 hours $840 (six-week Summer session)
