Danielle Donovan

Danielle P. Donovan is an Assistant Dean of Admissions at Framingham State University (FSU). In this position, Danielle has a dual role serving as the Director of Graduate Admissions as well as the Director of Admissions Operations. On the Operations side, Danielle is responsible for leveraging technology to streamline admissions processes and has been heavily involved in the implementation of Banner (FSU’s student system of record), Common Application, and Slate (FSU’s CRM). As Director of Graduate Admissions she is responsible for increasing new graduate student enrollment. Prior to her role as Assistant Dean, Danielle served as the Director of Operations in the Division of Graduate and Continuing Education. Danielle has been employed by FSU for the past thirteen years.

Before joining FSU, Danielle was a small business owner in the parcel consolidation field.  Her business, Parcel Connections, Inc., grossed 1.4 million in sales in the second year of operation. Early in her career, Danielle worked for Data General and Digital Equipment (DEC) in various roles.

Ms. Donovan is a double alum from Framingham State University earning both her B.A. and M.A. as an adult student. Earning her degrees in the evening while working full-time and raising a family gave Danielle a good understanding of the rewards and challenges facing adult learners. She brings this valuable perspective to her work recruiting graduate students.
