  • CIE

    The Center for Inclusive Excellence (CIE) cultivates an inclusive campus climate through collaboration, support, targeted programming and the facilitation of cross-cultural resources. The CIE staff designs and develops academic and social programming and services that will help historically underrepresented, historically underserved, low income, and diverse students toward college completion. The CIE provides a welcoming physical space for racially diverse faculty, staff and students to gather and create opportunities for the community to learn about different cultures in this space.   • COUNSELING CENTER

    The mission of the Counseling Center is to support the psychological and emotional well-being of students. The Center joins the mission of the University by fostering a positive educational and co-curricular experience for students by supporting diversity in all its forms, promoting free inquiry and respectful exchange of ideas, supporting critical and creative thinking and ethical decision making.   • DEAN OF STUDENTS

    The Dean of Students Office strives to create a culture of care for students, their families, faculty, and staff; promote student development and enhances the FSU student experience  through intentional intervention and guidance, programs, services, partnerships/connections,  crisis intervention, and policy development; foster an inclusive campus climate and facilitates the successful navigation of campus life; and provide education, advocacy, and support to encourage and empower all students to achieve  success in their academic, social, and personal development.     The FSU Police Department has the direct responsibility for law enforcement, preservation of public peace, reduction in the opportunity to commit crimes, and for the effective delivery of a wide variety of police and security services within the boundaries of FSU.
